Finalist in The Wishing Shelf Awards
One Sixth of a Gill
A good week! I was half-way through ‘Plaint for Provence’ , stopped to play with my brand new camera – a Nikon D750, which is so high-tech it probably makes tea if I find the right buttons, and then I had the news that ‘One Sixth of a Gill’ is a finalist in the Adult Fiction Category of the Wishing Shelf Book Awards. The details of all the books are still being added. This is a good old-fashioned award – quality controlled re entries and all the submissions accepted are read by real people. Each finalist has been judged by panels of librarians to be a recommended read and the panel reviews will be posted on amazon at some stage. I’m very happy 🙂
