I was so excited to learn that ‘Left Out’ has won a Bronze Award in Children’s Books: Social Issues category from the Readers’ Favorites site. Part of my prize is an invitation to the Book Festival in Miami in November but it’s just too far for me and bad timing. One day I will not only win an award but make it to the Winners’ Ceremony, so I can wear a posh frock and a winning smile! There is always some difficulty that stops me attending!
